10 Reasons Why Some People Will Never Succeed

Failure is more of a “one size fits all” recipe, whereas success is relative, subjective, and has both monetary and non-monetary worth. Here are five deliberate mistakes humans make.

1.They don’t understand the value of time

Any successful businessperson understands that time is more valuable than actual cash. Branson, Richard

People that are unsuccessful don’t value their time. Because they are unable to devote their time to achieving their objectives, they are present everywhere, at all times. And year after year they keep making fresh promises that never materialise because they were too lazy to devote the necessary time to achieving their objectives.

A key to tremendous success in any aspect of our lives is developing time management skills, understanding when to say “no,” and recognising what commitments to accept.

2. They don’t take actions that advance their goals.

“Decision-making is not difficult when your values are clear,” Roger Disney

Higher up on your hierarchy of values and connected with more discipline and order are goals that are more important to you. The lower a goal is on your hierarchy of values, the less discipline it will have, and the more disorder it will have associated with it. People who have failed have conflated busyness with productivity. They participate in everything, but nothing they do is consistent with their objectives and core principles.

3. They never take the initiative.

People seem to believe that success in one area may make up for loss in another, but is this actually true? To be truly effective, balance is necessary. Steven Covey

Because your employer is terrible and you despise your job so much, don’t be lazy and only provide subpar work. You’re being paid to be there, so act appropriately. According to a global law of life, you get out of life what you put into it.

To pursue perfection no matter what, is merely being mature and wise. Because being a student of distinction is more about how well you can plan and prepare, which makes you feel smarter and in turn produces great results, being a student of distinction is less about how smart you are and more about how well you can plan and prepare. Unsuccessful people are those who are okay with getting bad grades and won’t bother finding an effective studying method that will help their learning ability.

4. They set boundaries for themselves.

According to Oprah Winfrey, “You are what you are by what you believe.”

People who are unsuccessful frequently make excuses such as “I’m just bad with mathematics,” “I just really hate studying,” and “I simply don’t think I can manage a profitable business.” They set boundaries for themselves and rationalise their actions, but in reality they are only using these strategies to set low goals and underachieve.

Stop believing that you are inferior to other people in terms of intelligence, and get rid of the notion that you only have a particular set of skills and talents for a particular set of tasks. Making the most of who you are for both yourself and others is what life needs of you.

5. They are good at making excuses

Bill Gates once said, “If you can’t make it good, at least make it appear good.”

These are the folks who will come up with justifications and arguments for why they shouldn’t and can’t do something. They occasionally mistake this repugnant proclivity for “simply being realistic.” They lack creativity and constantly come up with excuses as to why something shouldn’t be, but they never actually attempt. When your mind is about to start coming up with an explanation, halt it and re-ignite the engine that originally caused the problem.
